The Korea Institute of Public Administration established in 1991, is a research institute under the Prime Minister's Office to contribute to the development of national administration. It does systematic research on the subjects such as the development of the administrative system and the improvement of the administrative system and its operation, and it collects, manages and supports information and data related to administration, and promote exchange projects with domestic and overseas research institutes. In particular, it supports the establishment of evidence-based policies by conducting various surveys and researches on government and government-related policies, including the National Survey on Social Integration and the Public Life Survey.
