Abstract
The first step towards policy making for social purification is the recognition of the degree of social purification of a society. Thus the measurement of Korean society’s degree of social purification through scientific methods is the starting point for social reform policy making. This study aims to diagnose the problems of society through understanding the values and attitudes towards society of Koreans and to find possibilities and direction for social reform. The survey deals with people’s attitudes in facing Korea’s social problems, attitude towards policy, sociopolitical consciousness, and the quality of life.
