The Asan Institute for Policy Studies is an independent think tank research institute established in 2008 to present policy alternatives in depth on the Korean Peninsula, East Asia and global issues and to lead the right social discourse. Its major areas include security, foreign policy, regional research, media and domestic politics, global governance, etc. and it conducts survey responding to political issues of domestic and global. It holds Asan Plenum and other regional forums, and publishes the bi-monthly english journal on foreign security policy, The Asan Forum.
