Abstract

This survey was conducted to collect preliminary data for the establishment of measures to expand the participation of women in economic activities in Gyeonggi-do. The survey was conducted among corporations, employees, employment seekers, and candidates for graduation, and this data was collected from candidates for graduation.
The main contents of the survey include family characteristics, point and period of preparation for employment/opening one’s own business, experience of submitting application and interviewing, reason for turning down job, methods of seeking employment, difficulties in seeking employment, reason for wanting to work, desired wage, desired occupation and industry in gaining employment/opening one’s own business, willingness to work as an irregular temporary employee, employment preparation activities, reason for preferring opening one’s own business, desired type of business in opening own business, preparation activities for opening own business, participation in job training, experience of career counseling, work experience and level of satisfaction, and utilizing employment programs and level of satisfaction.
