Abstract

This survey was conducted to collect preliminary data for the establishment of measures to expand the participation of women in economic activities in Gyeonggi-do. The survey was conducted among corporations, employees, employment seekers, and candidates for graduation, and this data was collected from female employees.
The main contents of the survey include characteristics of family, child rearing, wage, occupation and industry, years of employment, reason for and channel of seeking employment, experience of promotion, experience of using welfare facility within company and level of satisfaction, coverage by social insurance programs, intention of and reason for resignation, participation in job training, experience of career counseling, willingness to participate in job skills training, difficulties of work-family balance, programs for work-family balance, using maternity leave, husband’s support, experience of discrimination within the workplace, and job satisfaction.
