Abstract

The number of public employment security offices has drastically increased due to the government’s efforts to respond to the increase in unemployment caused by the financial crisis. But there have been no evaluations of the level of user satisfaction with the services provided by public employment security offices. Thus the「Survey on the Use of Public Employment Security Office」was conducted for the purpose of evaluating and examining the need for employment services. The survey was conducted among job seekers and hiring companies using public employment security offices, and employment consultants, and this data was collected from employment consultants.
The questionnaire of this survey includes questions on time allotted for each work activity, evaluation of public employment services and points for improvement, subjects for in-depth consultations, average hours of consultations, level of importance of each type of occupational information, evaluation of worknet system, level of job satisfaction, and intentions for job change.
