Abstract

This is the domestic survey of a 4year international and domestic survey conducted by the Korean Migration Research Network: KMRN to analyze the current state of domestic and overseas Korean corporations’ utilization of foreign workers. The questionnaire was drafted both in Korean and English and translated into Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Indonesian and deals with the socio-demographic characteristics as well as immigration process of foreign workers in Korea, industrial relations and union-union relations, working conditions, adaptation to work place, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, issues of fairness, cultural adaptation, social distance, and mental wellness.
