Abstract

This survey was conducted by the Korean Migration Research Network(KMRN) for the purpose of comparatively analyzing the employment of foreign workers by Korean companies both domestic and abroad. The survey was designed to be conducted during four years both domestically and abroad and this data is of the survey from abroad conducted among local workers of Korean companies in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The questionnaire includes questions on personal characteristics of workers, process of employment, labor relations, union-union relations, labor conditions, adaptation to workplace, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational equity, cultural adaptation, social distance, and mental health.
