The 「Survey on People’s Attitudes towards Information-Oriented Society」 was conducted to prepare for an information-oriented society of the future by evaluating the level of Korea’s information technology development and examining its problems to provide comprehensive policy data. The survey was also designed to be utilized as standard data for future studies on information technology. The survey was conducted among individuals and institutions and this data was collected from individuals. The questionnaire includes contents on use of telephones, usages status of special phone services, attitude towards information-oriented society, state of information management, state of computer systems, cognizance of new media and desire for use.
