The Center for SSK Multi-cultural Research at Hanyang University was formed in 2011 with the support of the Korea Research Foundation. It provides a research ground with collecting and processing data on marriage immigrants, migrant workers, North Korean immigrants and foreign minorities, and shares it with domestic and foreign researchers and finally aims to establish a center of multicultural research. The main source of data is the multi-cultural family city and county statistics series, which was generated from the research project 'Building an Integrated Research Foundation and Multidisciplinary Analysis on Migrants'.
