The Korea Institute of Health Project Evaluation, Sahmyook University, was established in 2006 to plan health projects, develop evaluation indicators, and systematically establish them. It focuses on the planning of health projects and research on evaluation indexes, while promoting the training of experts, development of health service education materials, and networking of health service evaluations. Major researches include AIDS-related research and training programs for youth, prostitutes and foreigners, and health promotion projects for local communities and schools.
