Abstract
이 연구는 2000년대 중후반부터 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 비정년트랙 전임교수의 고용상황과 근로조건을 심층적으로 분석함으로써 대학교수 노동시장의 분절에 따른 문제점과 개선방안을 살펴보고자 수행한 것이다. 이를 위해 성, 지역(수도권과 비수도권), 전공영역 등을 고려하여 눈덩이 표집방법으로 선정한 비정년트랙 교수 18명을 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였는데, 이 자료는 그 가운데 4명의 인터뷰 자료이다.
주요 인터뷰 내용은 임용 전 교육 및 연구 경력, 비정년트랙 전임교수직 지원 계기, 임용 조건(계약기간, 연봉, 승진가능성, 평가), 근무조건(정규직 교수와의 차별, 교육 및 연구 활동, 학과 및 본부 행정업무, 교수, 직원, 학생과의 관계), 비정규직 교수들의 단체활동과 근무여건 개선 노력, 비정년트랙 전임교수 제도에 대한 인식(대학이 비정규직 교수 채용을 늘리는 이유, 비정규직 교수의 지위 전망 및 처우 개선책) 등이다.
