Survey on the Chuseok Holiday, 2010

KBS Broadcast Research Institute conducted this survey ahead of the 2010 Chuseok holidays to assess the state of holiday plans including plans for returning home. The survey was conducted among KBS Broadcast Research Institute’s online panel. The major survey topics included length of the Chuseok holidays, costs of performing ancestral rites, Chuseok holiday expenses, economic sentiment during the Chuseok holidays, plans for returning home, reason for returning or not returning home, planned dates of returning and leaving home, means of transportation, holiday plans, whether or not planning on performing ancestral rites, reasons for performing or not performing ancestral rites, holiday leisure activity, holiday stress, suggestions for improving holiday culture.
