This survey was conducted by the Korea Information Society Development Institute to collect basic data necessary for ascertaining the use of data broadcasting contents including T-commerce and forecasting demand, for the purpose of establishing vitalization methods for data broadcasting.
The main contents of the survey include method of using broadcasting service, average number of hours spent on watching TV per week, average monthly expenditure, proportion of expenditure per vendor, main item of purchase per vendor, level of satisfaction and intention of purchasing again from each vendor, frequency of using data broadcasting and contents used, level of satisfaction with the use of data broadcasting, intention of using data broadcasting and desired contents to be used, items purchased through T-commerce, intention of using T-commerce and items interested in purchasing, and requirements for using data broadcasting and T-commerce.
