Abstract
This survey was conducted by the Korea Information Society Development Institute to collect basic data for the analysis of customer characteristics and service demands for the purpose of establishing a marketing strategy for the implementation of an asset management service for the customers of the post offices’ financial services. The survey was conducted among general customers and preferred customers respectively, and this data was collected from general customers. The questionnaire is composed of questions on the state of asset management, experience of using asset management services, and demand for an asset management service by the post office. Specific survey questions are as follows:
1. State of Asset Management
Size of financial asset, proportion of investment per type of financial asset, proportion of postal savings, proportion of postal insurance, interest in financial information, factors for consideration at time of investment, main points of interest related to asset management.
2. Experience of Using Asset Management Service
Awareness of asset management service, interest in service, experience of using service, level of satisfaction with service, factors for consideration in using service.
3. User Demand for Postal Asset Management Service
Need for the implementation of an asset management service, range of services provided, channel of providing services, liking per service content, intention of using service, preference for tailored services, and services for preferred customers that need to be specialized.
