This survey was conducted by the Korea Institute of Public Administration to examine the problems of the current government performance evaluation system and to offer improvement measures. The survey was conducted among officials of the central government agency including those in charge of the evaluation tasks, as well as experts in academia, and the questionnaire was designed with a focus on exploring the validity of the evaluation method and contents.
The main topics of the questionnaire are contribution to performance management, reason for running a system of evaluation, appropriateness of the contents of the evaluation, fairness of the evaluation method, consistency of the evaluation results, reliability of the evaluation results, utilization of the evaluation results, appropriateness of performance management, relationship between performance evaluation and performance management, and appropriateness of the production and management of performance information.
