The Korea Institute of Public Administration collected preliminary data necessary for the establishment of a strategy for building an electronic government befitting the Web 2.0 era in an effort to improve the public’s confidence in the government.
The survey was designed with a focus on investigating the influence of various electronic government related elements on the people’s confidence in the government. The questionnaire was designed to facilitate such a research model and is composed of independent variables such as the role of the electronic government, the outcomes of an electronic government, satisfaction with public service, and participation in electronic government, and also includes questions on confidence in the government which are considered dependent variables.
