Abstract

This survey was conducted to collect preliminary data for the establishment of measures to expand the participation of women in economic activities in Gyeonggi-do. The survey was conducted among corporations, employees, employment seekers, and candidates for graduation, and this data was collected from corporate representatives.
The main survey contents include number of employees for each gender, number of female managers, number of female and male newly hired employees, employment method, plans for hiring new employees, plans for job cuts, targets of job cuts, conditions of hiring female employees, pros and cons of female employees, attitude towards female employees, supporting job training, human resource development of female employees, childbirth and childrearing by female employees, running work-family balance programs, and utilizing female employment programs.
