The Roh administration has pursued various personnel policies according to its roadmap for personnel reform. The Korea Institute of Public Administration has conducted the「Study on the Evaluation of the Public Personnel Policies and its Future Tasks」to evaluate the ten major personnel policies by the Roh administration and to explore measures for future reform. The「Survey on the Evaluation of the Roh Administration’s Main Personnel Policies」was conducted to collect evaluation data on the seven personnel policies included in the above study.
The questionnaire of this survey includes contents on the overall evaluation of the personnel policies of the Roh administration, delegation of authority over personnel to departments and assessment of the transfer of jurisdiction, evaluation of personnel system by head of organization, evaluation of government employee personnel system, evaluation of female government employees’ advancement to high level positions, evaluation of local talent employment system, evaluation of result based compensation system, evaluation of government employee labor relations, and future tasks for personnel reform.
