This survey was conducted to identify elements of gender discrimination in the public sector and establish systematic measures to rectify the problem by investigating the attitude of public servants towards their working conditions depending on gender.
The questionnaire of this survey, designed from a gender conscious prospective, includes contents on awareness of gender roles, degree of job satisfaction, evaluation of workplace discrimination, awareness of the differences in ability and qualities between men and women, opinion on the promotion of women, awareness of a need for a reform system for discrimination in personnel administration, opinion on the job placement of women, experience of victimization from sexual harassment within the workplace, and opinion on a policy for supporting the compatibility of work and family life.
