Abstract

The Korea Institute of Public Administration conducted the「National Opinion Survey on Public Administration」every three years from 1992 among citizens and civil servants. This survey aims to examine opinions of citizens and civil servants on public administrative services, administrative system, civil servants, government policies, and the role of government thereof to provide basic data for the study of policy and public administration.
This data was collected from citizens in 2007. The main contents of the survey include experiences of administrative services, assessment of administrative services, assessment of government policies, trust in government, opinion on the role of government and government expenditures, assessment of civil servants, comparison between the private sector and government, overall opinion on society, and experiences of social participation.
