Abstract
Following the 1997 economic crisis Korean corporations have advocated reform and innovation in human resource management in order to adapt to changing business environments. Nevertheless, there is a lack of specific information on the changes in management strategies experienced by Korean corporations. The「Survey on Changes in Business Environment and Human Resource Management Following the Financial Crisis」was conducted to provide basic data to be utilized in the establishment of practical policy measures by examining the human resource management methods and direction undertaken by Korean corporations in coping with the fast changing market environment. The survey was conducted separately among planning and human resource managers, and this data was collected from planning managers. The questionnaire used for this survey includes contents on business environment, management strategy, corporate culture, industrial relations, and human resource management.
