Abstract

The survey, by examining the workers’ everyday lives and working conditions, aims to provide preliminary data for policy making that will help workers to feel job satisfaction and to manage better lives. The Korean national income has reached 10,000 dollars and it is invariably necessary to understand the quality of labor, the worker’s occupational view, industrial relations, and the overall worker’s life, in order to improve their future quality of life. The questionnaire is composed of contents including level of satisfaction with life, lifestyle, job satisfaction, job evaluation, attitude towards working environment, attitude towards occupation, professionalism, attitude towards industrial relations, opinion on labor unions, and image of the chief executive officer.
