Abstract

This survey was conducted among interns and institutions to gather data for the improvement of the government internship program. This data was collected from institutions. The questionnaire is composed of topics on the current state of businesses, utilization of internship program, selection and recruitment of interns, and the evaluation of internship program. The section on the current state of businesses includes questions on number of workers per occupation, supply and demand of labor per occupation, worker selection standards, labor costs, and adjustment of employment. The section on utilization of internship program includes questions on utilization of internship program per occupation, main tasks of intern, channel of information on internship program and reason for utilization. The questions on intern recruitment and selection includes past internship recruitment experience, preferred process of recruitment, and the order of priorities in selecting interns. Questions on the evaluation of internship program include the effectiveness of internship program, points of improvement and future plans for utilization.
