Abstract
This is a collection of documents related to the 1974 Inhyeokdang Incident (in full name, the Committee for Re-establishment of the People's Revolutionary Party incident) in which several people were arrested on charges of instigating anti-government student movements including those by the National Federation of Democratic Students(Mincheonghakryeon). The collection is composed of 12 documents written between November, 1974 and March, 1980 by the families of the accused, Catholic Priests' Association for Justice, Korea Student Christian Federation, and the Thursday Prayer Meetings. Contained in the documents are letters of appeal demanding for fair trials of the accused, a full release of the arrested, and explanation on the Mincheonghakryeon Incident and the reinstatement of the persons arrested by that incident, etc. Examples include a letter of petition written by the wife of Jeon, Hyong Il (one of the arrested), and a letter of petition appealing for the permission of re-entry of the Rev. George Ogle who had been forced to leave the country on charges of leading the Thursday Prayer Meetings.
