Abstract
During the mid 1980s Korean society exhibited the two faces of rapid economic development and to continue the growth needed to adapt to the fast changing environment. The purpose of this survey is to examine people’s values and conditions of their livelihood to produce the fundamental data necessary for the betterment of society. Thus the questionnaire is composed of people’s evaluation of the main issues of Korean society in the 1980s, general values, and the understanding of social changes and prospects in the 1980s. The data for this study contains integrated data for college students and the average respondents to identical survey questions.
