A Study on the Effective Intervention against School Violence in Korea, 2006 : Offender’s Parents

This survey was designed to utilize the counter measure model of restorative justice to find innovative solutions for juvenile crime. The purpose of the first study conducted in 2006 is to develop a process manual for the "family group conferencing" model as a new intervention method against school violence, and by examining its applicability in a practical and systematic way develop a Korean version of a restorative justice model. This data is the survey result of the parents of the offenders. The contents of the survey include the problems and current state of policy on school violence in order to investigate the problems and limitations of the current system and the need for judicial services.
