Survey on Migration and Urban Life, 1971

This survey was conducted to examine the state of urban migration and adaptation resulting from the rapid advancement of urbanization. The questionnaire includes questions on migration to Seoul and daily life. The questions on migration to Seoul include status of move to Seoul, residence before migration, reason for migration, process of migration, savings, type of residence, plans for migration, and opinion on current political issues. The questions on daily life include methods of childrearing, preferred type of manager, attitude towards financial transaction between friends, opinion on birth control, living conditions in 5 years, cost of living, efforts to resolve regional problems, attitude towards government offices, channel of listening to the news, opinion on citizens’ participation in administration, and social participation.
