With decentralization the quality of life of its citizens have also become measures for judging the region’s economic competitiveness. The「Survey on Residential Satisfaction in the Seo-gu District of Gwangju Metropolitan City」was conducted to be utilized in improving the residents’ living conditions by measuring the residential satisfaction.
This survey collected data related to the quality of life that will allow the estimation of convenient living, state of informatization, and state of media utilization. The questionnaire of the survey includes questions on type of residence, pros and cons of residence, challenges of residence, residential satisfaction, pride as a Seo-gu resident, ownership of a computer, use of the internet and state of use, state of cellphone utilization, newspaper subscription, and TV viewing.
