This survey was conducted to examine the changes in the areas of politics, economy, and society resulting from the ongoing process of democratization in Korea. It was especially designed to provide a basis for an in-depth study of the influences of democratization on society as a whole by collecting preliminary data essential in understanding the opinions of Korean citizens on democratization. The questionnaire includes contents on evaluation of democratization, political view, opinion on government policies, opinion on political parties, evaluation of the economy, social activities, political participation, ideological inclination, views on media, and work.
