Survey on Family Life in Suburban New Towns of Seoul, 1965

This survey was conducted to examine the family relationships of the residents of suburban new towns and their attitudes towards family life. The questionnaire was designed to focus on the study of the modernization of family relationships in the city and includes questions on the process of marriage, family relations, married women’s attitude towards employment, decision making of married couples, communication between married couples, married couples going out, marital relations, divorce, remarriage, method of proposal, attitude towards filial piety, desired number of children, and the ideal number of children.
