Abstract
이 조사는 한국형사정책연구원이 우리나라 교정시설에서 이뤄지고 있는 의료처우 실태와 문제점을 파악하여 향후 교정시설 의료처우 시스템을 개선하기 위한 방안을 마련하고자 실시한 것이다. 자료수집은 수용자와 일반인을 대상으로 각각 실시되었으며, 설문지는 교정시설 수용자와 일반인 간의 의료처우를 비교할 수 있도록 공통 문항을 포함하고 있다.
이 자료는 전국의 만19세 이상 성인남녀로부터 수집되었으며, 주요 조사내용은 건강검진 경험, 병/의원에서의 치료 경험, 만성질환 및 질병 여부, 우리나라 인권 존중 정도, 소득에 따른 의료서비스의 공정성, 각 상황에서 세금을 낼 의향, 교정시설 의료처우에 대한 의견 등이다.
