Abstract
이 조사는 서울시여성가족재단이 서울시 경력단절여성의 경제활동 실태 및 정책 수요를 파악하여 경력단절여성의 재취업 지원을 위한 과제를 도출하고 향후 실시될 실태조사 추진 방안을 제시하는 데 필요한 기초자료를 수집하고자 실시하였다. 조사에서는 경력단절 여성을 관계 법령에 근거하여 혼인, 임신, 출산, 육아 가족구성원 돌봄, 근로조건을 이유로 직장 및 일자리를 그만둔 적이 있는 여성으로 정의하였다. 자료는 서울시에 거주하는 만25세 이상 55세 미만인 경력단절여성으로 현재 비취업 상태이며 경력단절 시점이 6개월 이상 경과되었고, 향후 경제활동 의사가 있는 자로부터 수집되었다. 주요 조사내용은 경력단절 및 재경력단절 당시 일자리 상황, 경제활동 의사 및 구직 활동 현황, 고용서비스 이용 경험 및 정책 수요 등이다.
