Abstract
이 조사는 한국형사정책연구원이 우리나라 6호처분시설로 지정된 아동보호치료시설의 운영 실태와 개선 방안에 대한 인식을 조사하여, 6호처분을 받은 소년범들이 범죄 환경에서 벗어날 수 있도록 시설 개선 방안을 마련하고자 실시한 것이다. 6호처분은 범죄를 저질렀으나 형사처벌 대신 보호처분이 필요하다고 판단된 소년들을 일정 기간 소년보호시설에 위탁하여 생활하도록 하는 조치이다. 자료수집은 6호처분시설에 위탁된 소년들과 시설 종사자를 대상으로 각각 실시되었다.
이 자료는 6호처분시설로 지정된 7개 기관에 근무하고 있는 종사자로부터 수집되었으며, 주요 조사내용은 6호처분에 대한 인식, 6호처분시설 운영에 대한 인식, 6호처분시설의 개선방안 등이다.
