- Abstract
- 한국갤럽조사연구소는 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등 여러 분야에 걸친 다양한 주제들을 한 번에 다루는 옴니버스 조사(Omnibus Survey)를 매월 시행하고 있다. 이 조사는 갤럽 옴니버스 조사의 일환으로서 일반국민을 대상으로 외모와 성형수술에 대한 인식을 파악하고자 실시한 것이다. 자료 수집은 1994년과 2004년, 2015년 총 세 차례 실시되었다.
자료는 2015년 전국의 만 19세 이상 성인남녀 1,500명으로부터 수집됐으며, 주요 조사내용은 인생과 운명에 있어서 외모의 중요도, 현재 외모에 대한 자신감 정도, 외모에 대한 관심 정도, 가장 많이 신경 쓰는 외모 부분, 남성의 외모로 인한 취직 실패 시 성형수술에 대한 찬반 의견, 여성의 결혼을 위한 성형수술에 대한 찬반 의견, 성형수술 경험 유무, 성형수술 고려 여부, 성형수술 고려 부위 등이다.
