- Abstract
- 「포털 뉴스의 댓글이 여론 지각 및 미디어의 영향력에 대한 가정에 미치는 효과」는 2009년 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 인터넷 포털뉴스 기사와 댓글, 기사에 대한 찬반 투표 등의 정보가 뉴스 이용자들의 여론 지각 및 미디어 영향력에 대한 평가, 그리고 개인의 의견을 결정하는 데 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 실시된 연구사업이다.
이 조사는 연구사업의 일환으로서 서울 및 대전 지역의 대학생을 대상으로 특정 포털뉴스 기사와 댓글, 찬반 투표수를 제시한 뒤 이에 대한 인식과 여론 지각 등을 파악하고자 실시한 실험조사이다. 응답자가 가상의 웹사이트를 접속하면 기사만 제시하거나 기사와 댓글 또는 기사와 찬반 투표수를 제시하는 방식으로 상이한 실험 조건을 무작위로 할당했다. 주요 조사내용은 특정 기사에 대한 개인 의견, 특정 기사에 대한 사회 여론, 응답자와 특정 기사 이슈 간 관련도, 특정 기사 이슈가 개인 의견 및 사회 여론에 미치는 영향력 정도, 인지욕구에 대한 인식, 특정 기사 논조에 대한 인식 등이다.
