- Abstract
- 「농업·농촌에 대한 국민의식 조사」는 농업·농촌에 대한 국민들의 의식 변화와 농업 관련 현안들에 대한 견해를 파악하여 농업정책 수립에 필요한 기초자료를 마련하고자 2001년부터 매년 시행하는 조사이다. 이 조사는 농업·농촌에 대한 국민들의 의식 변화와 관련된 반복문항을 포함함으로써 시계열 연구가 가능하도록 설계되어 있다.
한국농촌경제연구원은 연구에 필요한 현장조사를 원활하게 수행하고자 1978년부터 전국 모범농업인으로 구성된 현지통신원 제도를 운영하였으며, 1980년대에는 이들로부터 농업인 의식구조 변화에 대한 자료를 수집하였고, 1990년대에는 농촌사회 변화에 초점을 맞춰 비정기적으로 조사를 시행하였다. 또한 2000년대에는 반복문항과 국외비교문항을 추가하여 정기적으로 의식구조에 대한 변화추이를 파악하였다. 2001년부터 2005년까지는 농업인을 대상으로 매년 ‘농업인 의식구조 변화에 대한 여론조사’를 시행하였고, 2006년부터는 조사대상에 도시민을 포함하여 ‘농업·농촌에 대한 국민의식 조사’를 시행하였다. 2009년부터는 간헐적으로 전문가조사를 실시하여 조사의 객관성을 유지하였다.
이 자료는 2019년에 농업인으로부터 수집된 것으로, 주요 조사내용은 국민경제에서 농업이 차지하는 중요성, 농업·농촌에 대한 애착심, 수입산 대비 국산 농축산물 경쟁력, 타 산업 대비 농업 발전 가능성, 10년 후 우리나라 농업의 전망, 5년 전 대비 올해 농촌생활 수준, 현재 우리사회 빈부격차에 대한 인식, 도시 대비 농촌생활 수준, 현재 농촌지역 경제상황에 대한 인식, 현 정부의 농업정책 만족도, 올해 농식품분야에서 가장 관심 많았던 이슈, 공익형 직불제로의 개편에 대한 인식 및 개편을 위한 필요 요건, 농업부문 피해 보전을 위해 필요한 농업정책, 농업소득의 불안정성에 대한 의견, 보다 중점을 두어야 하는 농업정책, 식품안전에 대한 불안 요소, 외국인에게 추천하는 한국 음식문화, 향후 5년 내 가장 중요한 농식품분야 이슈, 올해 농사 만족도, 농업경영에 가장 큰 위협 요소, 농업인으로서 직업 만족도, 5년 전 대비 농업경영 및 생활환경 변화 정도, 현재 농촌생활 만족도, 거주지역 내 마을주민과의 관계, 거주지역에 대한 소속감 및 자긍심 정도 등이다.
