Abstract
이 조사는 21세기군사연구소가 국가인권위원회의 용역을 받아 입영제도 개선방안 마련을 위한 기초자료를 수집하고자 실시한 것으로, 일반병사와 간부를 대상으로 병영생활 실태와 개선 관련 의견을 조사하였다. 이 자료는 일반병사로부터 수집된 것으로 주요 조사내용은 입대 전 군대 이미지와 현재 군 복무 중 겪는 어려움, 부당한 대우 경험, 어려울 때 선택하는 구제제도와 그에 대한 만족도, 부대의 조치 효과, 도움·배려병사 제도의 시행 실태와 실효성, 병무청 징병검사의 공정성 평가 등이다.
