Abstract
이 조사는 한국형사정책연구원이「법과학을 적용한 형사사법의 선진화 방안」제3차년도 연구의 일환으로 검시제도 개선방안 수립에 필요한 기초자료를 수집하고자 시행한 것이다. 자료는 일반국민 1,000명과 경찰 428명을 대상으로 각각 수집되었다. 이 자료는 일반국민에 관한 것으로 검시 절차에 대한 의견, 검시제도 개선방안에 대한 의견, 주요 사례별 부검 필요성에 대한 인식, 부검을 꺼리는 이유 등을 주요 내용으로 포함하고 있다. 배경변수로는 성, 연령, 거주지역, 교육수준, 직업, 종교, 가구소득 등이 포함되어 있다.
