Abstract
이 조사는 경기도가족여성연구원이 경기지역 노인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 분야별 정책 제안을 목적으로 가구경제, 가족생활, 사회생활, 여가활동, 건강 등 노인생활의 주요 영역을 망라하여 시행한 실태조사이다. 조사는 경기도에 거주하는 만 65세 이상의 노인 800명을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 주요 조사내용은 직업과 경제상태, 자녀와의 관계, 부부관계, 사회적 관계, 사회활동, 여가생활, 의료이용과 건강상태, 생활만족도 등이다.

1. 남녀 비율을 2:3으로 하여 남성과 여성에 각각 320명과 480명을 할당
2. 연령집단(65-69세, 70-74세, 75-79세, 80세 이상)별로 동일 표본수를 할당
3. 지역특성(대도시, 중소도시, 농촌)별로 동일 표본수를 할당
