Abstract
이 조사는 한국형사정책연구원이 내국인에 의한 외국인 증오범죄의 형법적 수용과 대응 방안을 모색하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 외국인 대상 증오범죄의 발생실태를 파악하고자 시행한 것이다. 조사대상은 국내에 거주하는 중국, 인도네시아, 우즈베키스탄 3개국 출신의 외국인 노동자와 유학생이다. 주요 조사내용은 인종·종교·국적 사유의 증오범죄 피해경험, 범죄피해 장소, 가해자 특성, 신체적 피해정도, 신고여부와 사건처리만족도, 주변의 도움여부, 증오범죄에 대한 두려움 등이다.
