Abstract
이 자료는 장애인 자동차 이동지원서비스 도입을 위한 선진국 사례 연구의 일환으로 미국 보훈부(Department of Veterans Affairs)가 제공하는 AAE(Automobile Adaptive Equipment) 프로그램의 내용과 전달체계를 살펴보고자 미국의 보훈 관련 기관들을 방문하여 수집한 기록문서이다. 미국 보훈부 제대군인의료처(Veterans Health Administration, VHA), 워싱턴 D.C. 보훈부 메디컬센터(Washington D.C. VA Medical Center), 척수마비상이군인회(Paralyzed Veterans of America) 등 3개 관련 기관 및 단체를 대상으로 2012년 1월 29일부터 2012년 2월 6일까지 진행된 현지방문조사에서는 동 기관 및 단체가 발행한 리플렛과 발표문 및 보고서 등이 수집되었다. 이 자료는 그 가운데 척수마비상이군인회(Paralyzed Veterans of America)가 작성한 프로그램 매뉴얼로『Program Policy Manual』,『Administrative Manual』,『Administrative Guide』등 3권의 단행본으로 구성되어 있다.
