Abstract

This survey was conducted by the Busan Women and Family Development Institute to establish measures for stabilizing and enriching vocational training for female job seekers in the Busan area. The survey was conducted separately among job seekers, vocational training institutions, and experts, and this data is on the status and operating conditions of vocational training institutions.
The main contents of the survey include the size of facility, budget, as well as number of personnel of the institution, trainee ratio per gender and age, annual number of people who graduate/find employment/acquire certification, successful vocation training program, difficulties in operating program, desired program, method of seeking students, methods for employment guidance and employment support, existence of a network among institutions, support needed, reason for low employment of female trainees, employment possibilities for female trainees for each age group, main sector of employment/business startup for each age group of female trainees, promising sectors for the employment and entrepreneurial endeavors by women, demand for vocational training for women, and demand for the employment of women, etc.
