Abstract

This survey was conducted by the Busan Women and Family Development Institute to establish measures for stabilizing and enriching vocational training for female job seekers in the Busan area. The survey was conducted separately among job seekers, vocational training institutions, and experts, and this data is on job seekers' participation in job training.
The main contents of the survey include number of times one has participated in vocational training, vocational training institution and training program one has participated in, reason for participating in vocational training, elements for consideration in choosing a vocational training institution, level of significance of each goal of vocational training, desired area of vocational training, whether vocational training was helpful in gaining employment/starting a business, intention of gaining employment/starting a business, support needed in gaining employment/ starting a business, desired type of employment, reason for preferring temporary position, need for vocational training institution for women and reason for needing such an institution, desire for employment and level of readiness, and job performance ability, etc.
