Abstract
This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcasting Culture Research Institute to understand the viewership of sports broadcasts and the viewers' perception of sports, to be utilized in producing and programming sports related broadcast programs.
The main contents of the survey include factors considered in viewing sports broadcasts, preferred sporting event to watch, preferred sports broadcast channel, frequency of viewing sports broadcasts, main viewing times of sports broadcasts, mainly watched sports program, desired sports program, and the perception of the social functions and roles of sports and sports broadcasting.
