Abstract

"Survey on the Results and Improvement Measures for the Didimdol Donation Program of the City of Seoul" was conducted to analyze the results of the Seoul Didimdol Donation program which is being operated as a joint project between the city of Seoul and the Seoul Welfare Foundation. The Seoul Welfare Foundation initiated the program to improve the welfare of the local community utilizing private support. The survey was conducted targeting the program’s beneficiaries, program managers at donor businesses and private welfare organizations, and government employees at local government districts in Seoul.
This data was collected from program managers at participating private welfare organizations and include information on program performance results, amount of work related to the program, donor business management status, donor business recruitment methods, difficulties in recruiting and managing donor businesses, difficulties recruiting and managing program beneficiaries, effects of the program, residents’ awareness of the program, additional types of businesses for recruitment, role of different organizations, difficulties in operating the program, and suggestions for vitalizing the program.
