Public Opinion Survey on the Power Elite of the Chungbuk Area, 2007

This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcast Research Institute to examine the public opinion of Chungcheongbuk-do's inhabitants on the roles, activities, and personal networks of the power elite of the local community for the purpose of producing a special broadcast program on the leadership of the Chungbuk area's opinion leaders.
The main contents of the survey include important performance goals of local leaders, trust in regional agencies, most influential power group, changes following local self-governing system, level of satisfaction with head of local government and council members, influence of civic organizations, influence of women leaders, perception of the political participation of social activists, important networks of leader groups, the alma mater and hometown of members of the most influential leader group, etc.
