Abstract
This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcast Research Institute among past and present fund subscribers to examine the state of investor protection by financial institutions and causes of financial disputes.
The main contents of the survey include type of subscribed fund, experience of subscribing to a fund due to the insistence of a teller, whether explanations of funds of other companies were provided, experience of switching funds due to the insistence of a teller, whether the possibility of loss of the principal was explained, experience of loss from funds subscribed to due to the insistence of a teller, whether the characteristics of the product were explained, difference in disclosed yield, whether fees were explained, level of satisfaction with follow up services, and experience of dispute with financial institution and reason for dispute, etc.
