This survey was conducted to collect data on the state of disability, process of seeking employment, status of employment, and occupational view of the hearing-impaired, for the purpose of identifying the factors that determine the job selection of the hearing-impaired.
The main contents of the survey include, cause of disability, degree of disability, primary means of communication, employments status, reason for seeking employment or not seeking employment, channel of acquiring information on employment, difficulties in seeking employment, advisors in selecting job, type of occupation and size of company, type of employment, position, wage level, level of satisfaction with wage, job aptitude, difficulties in work life, primary means of communication in conducting duties, possibility of promotion, factors for consideration in selecting job, desired occupation, and requirements for attaining a good job.
