Abstract
This survey was conducted by the KBS Broadcast Research Institute to gain an understanding of the public's perception of foreign workers to be utilized in the production of a broadcast program on the topic of foreign workers.
The main contents of the survey include images related to foreign workers, social influence of foreign workers, crime rate of foreign workers in comparison to that of Koreans, impartiality of media coverage on foreign workers, reason behind prejudices against foreigners, seriousness of human rights violations of foreign workers, difficulties in the lives of foreign workers, attitude towards immigration of foreigners, and the possibility of ethnic conflict.
